New Firmware Version 2.2.0 A new firmware version has been released for the InFusion. This is the Release number 2.2.0. This release fixes the FM Radio volume problem reported from several users. This release also features support for windows media WMA, ASF and ASX formats for streaming stations and for local media playback. There is a current known fault with some Windows Media servers streaming WMRTSP protocol, it is expected that this fault will be fixed in the next couple of months. This release also features integration with Torians new MiRoamer personalized media site located at http://www.miroamer.com. This release features a new media engine which gives support to the latest aac+ codecs. New Firmware Version 2.0.0 RC1 A new firmware version has been released for the InFusion. This is a Release Candidate and not the final 2.0.0 release; it provides several key enhancements to the current 1.1.0 release. The next release is scheduled for August 2007, and will include further improvements. The major enhancements include: Connectivity: Improved WiFi connectivity Improved WiFi range More simplified access point authentication and connectivity User Interface: Redesigned user interface, including new menu structure Removal of IMF "toggle" feature The Power button is now just the power button. It no longer functions as a Back button. The IMF button now functions solely as the Back button iRoamer Media: Improved Internet radio station search speeds More stable iRoamer database A revised user manual outlining the key menu changes is currently being developed, and will be made available for download from this site shortly.
